contact + hire

Tom is very easy to get in touch with. But, granted, all you will receive is an email address. Let your fingers do the talking, because he is largely deaf in his left ear.

Should you have any bizarre desire to contract Tom out for bar mitzvahs, teaching, compositions, poetry readings, ritual fax machine sacrifices, or other (please specify), do the following:

1. go to your email reader.
2. start a new message.
3. type " tom [at] thomasdempster [dot] com " in the "To:" section.
3A. remove [at] and replace it with "@"
3A-1. Remove the "" from the outsides of the @
3B. Ditto with [dot].
3C. If you are confused by now, you are deservedly so, and someone should take the Internet away from you for a day.
4. Type your message.
4A. Let me know how I can get in touch with you and what precisely you'd need from me or would like from me or if you just want to chat. These arctic nights get lonely. The ice weasels cometh. (I originally only wanted them to come, but it was suggested a more poetic trope be affixed to this mortal coil of communicative explication)
5. Please press send so I can actually read your message at some point. That would be swell.
10. Eat your bagels.

merch

Why yes, I am selling things.

You can go to cdbaby.com or quiet design records to purchase an audio recording with one of my pieces on it. The other pieces on it are pretty swell, too.

You can even contact me directly (see above) to buy lo-fi CDs (that is, CDs published by Memorex or Imation and my CD burner) of my electroacoustic music.

You can even contact me directly, again, about getting your hands on scores and parts. My rates are reasonable, and your conscience will feel better about it. Online ordering of scores and parts is coming soon, once I find a financial site that isn't paypal.

If you perform or broadcast my pieces in whole or part, please report that fact — and send a program — to both me and to Broadcast Music, Incorporated (BMI), my performing rights representative.

continuously online since 1999 :: lo-fi internet at its best :: if you want java, drink some coffee :: if you want flash, go to a strip joint :: if you want php, you've come to the right place... sort of
